How to write lyrics that sing well
Lyrics with lines of about the same length are sung more clearly.
- Keep the number of syllables in each line about the same.
- If three lines have 8 syllables and the fourth has 14, the fourth line gets rushed.
- Spell your brand name the way it sounds, not the way it looks on the packaging.
- End each line on a word that is easy to sing, like 'day' or 'slow', not a word like 'strengths'.
- Write numbers as words, like 'twenty-four seven', instead of digits or symbols.
- Read your lyrics out loud before you generate. Lines that are hard to say are hard to sing.

- Why did it rush the last line?
- Usually because that line is much longer than the others, so the singing squeezes it in. Make the lines about the same length and generate again.
- Can I choose who sings it?
