Slow motion video maker: half speed, normal pitch

How smooth it will look
The tool shows each frame longer. It does not invent new frames in between.
- Fewer different frames a second means the motion looks choppier.
- A clip filmed at 60 frames a second still shows 30 different frames a second at half speed.
- Many phones can film at 60 frames a second. Look for it in the camera settings.

What happens to the sound and the length
Slowing a clip makes it longer. At 0.5× it takes twice as long to play, and at 0.75× about a third longer.
- If you keep the sound, it slows with the picture at the same pitch, so voices do not drop deep.
- If you drop the sound, you get a silent clip to put music under later.

Limits of a browser tool
